Nippon Paint and South Pacific Paint will be joining hands next week to bring to Papua New Guinea the first ever "colour talk event".
That half day conference will take place on November 26, 2014 at the Grand Papua Hotel at 1pm.
"This is a chance for all specialist in the building and decorating industry to explore paint and colour and its limitless uses and possibilities," director for South Pacific Paint Jim Gui said.
"Colour influences our experiences and enhances the architectural form in the same way that it does with all design. " However, th effects of colour are so powerful that this has become a specialised area, hence colour scheming is now an important factor in determining a beautiful space," he said.
Mr Gui said during the event, participants will be involved in activities to develop their color skills, they will also share ideas, and learn new techniques and expertise from each other.
He said at the end of the session, participants would have learnt the importance of choosing the right colours and how to prepare a colour scheme, as well as the use of the Nippon Paint Colour Creation App. All this can be put into action back at work in the specialist field.
The organisers are urging architects and developers and relevant executives in respective building and decorating businesses to attend what the organisers promise to be a very informative session looking into the world of colour.
South Pacific Paint, the exclusive distributor of Nippon Paint to PNG and South Pacific, is a subsidiary company of the PNG NWTL Group of Companies and is located at the Trophy Haus Complex, Waigani.
