Junior Printer Technician

Company Overview:  Wantech is a leading provider of Internet Service Provider (ISP) solutions and ICT hardware, specializing in delivering innovative technology.

Position Summary: The Junior Printer Technician will support the company’s printer SLA business by carrying out basic troubleshooting, toner refills, and monthly usage readings for the managed fleet of printers. The role requires hands-on technical ability, attention to detail, and mobility to attend to different client sites

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Printer Maintenance & Support

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of printers (paper jams, error codes, connectivity issues).
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks to ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to the senior technician or vendor.

Consumables Management

  • Refill and replace toner cartridges as required.
  • Monitor consumable levels and report low stock to management.
  • Ensure proper handling and safe disposal of used cartridges.

Fleet Monitoring & Reporting

  • Collect and record monthly readings of print counts for all printers under SLA.
  • Maintain accurate logs of printer status, service activities, and usage data.
  • Provide timely reports to the Service/Operations team.

Field Service

  • Visit customer sites to perform service tasks as scheduled.
  • Deliver responsive and professional support to clients.
  • Ensure service visits comply with SLA timelines and standards

  • Prepare and raise purchase orders based on approved requisitions.

Office Administration

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the management team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Driving & Logistics

  • Perform daily pick-up and delivery of goods, equipment, and documents.
  • Ensure vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and regularly serviced.
  • Adhere to all road safety and company driving policies.
  • Maintain delivery records and ensure timely completion of assigned routes.

IT Support Assistance
